Feed free choice in a covered trough. DO NOT offer any other mineral or salt during the time you are feeding this mineral. Cattle should consume approximately 4 to 6 ounces per head per day, depending on body weight and range conditions. Six ounces of this mineral will supply 3 milligrams of supplemental selenium. This high magnesium mineral should be fed to cattle grazing on green winter pastures such as oats, rye, and wheat and to cattle in immature native spring grasses.
CAUTION: This mineral contains added selenium. Do not permit excessive consumption. Intake of supplemental selenium from this mineral should not exceed 0.3ppm on a complete ration basis or 3 milligrams per head per day for beef and dairy cattle.
